Sumner is a project rooted firmly in both experimental dance music and narrative driven storytelling. Conceptually, Sumner chronicles the shadowrun-esque adventures of Jasyndyl and Dynrah, characters in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world of magic, political intrigue, and drama know as Talanus. Musically, Sumner combines the gritty industrial tribal sounds and rhythms of noyouyesme with Production Unit Xero’s post jungle electro idm in vivid improvisation based compositions. All Tomorrow’s Parties was performed live on the technoclub.net livestream in summer of 2022 using the early building blocks of what morphed into the 2023 release Post Apocalypse Now.
