forces – Production Unit Xero – [HTX143]

Written in the winter of 2024, “forces” by Production Unit Xero captures a season of introspection and movement. The album is composed of two dreamlike pieces, “Cycles” and “Lullaby,” that accompany each other like light quietly shifting from dusk into the dark PNW night. Each moment is hand-tuned, with an ear towards the ethereal space; and rather than psychoacoustic tension, you’re immersed in pure resolution. Together, the two tracks act as a meditative underbelly to PUX’s more rhythmically forward work. What emerges is a quiet focus of forces.
