“Healing, a process involving change” is an album compiled of 8 tracks which delve deeply into intriguing guitar melodies and complex drum programming. Nailbite draws inspiration from many sources and genres, but with a clear emphasis on late 90’s IDM and early 00’s Indietronica. The goal with this album was to add emotional depth to electronic tracks, with sampled interviews, heavily processed guitars, resulting in something that feels more like a song.
Nailbite is an experimental IDM / Drum and Bliss alias focused on blending emotionally lush guitar and synth melodies with fast, intricate breakbeats. Rooted in contrast, the project explores the beauty and tension between the analog and digital worlds.
Created by Berlin-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Ethan Walsh, Nailbite draws inspiration from a wide range of sources, with a clear emphasis on late ’90s IDM and early 2000s indietronica.
