This second volume of Patch and Release follows in the same vein as the first- one take modular recordings capturing various combinations of modules patched, performed, recorded, unpatched… repeat.
They serve as a documentation of sonic journeys I engaged in since my last release. The first of these recordings were made shortly after the release of vol.1 in 2016 and range up to early 2019. Most were made in prepping for live performances (which I limit myself to a 6u setup) or are remnants thereof and are glimpses of my live sets. I am pleased to be able to share these tracks and for them to have a home in the Heterodox catalog.
