Aeon Angeles step in from out of the rain into a jeweled pleasure garden. Forsaking the tech-noir grit and gloom of Udon Blues, Ambient Garden Recordings instead gravitates towards the peaceful pastoral electronics of Vangelis’ original score for Ridley Scott’s dystopian parable, Blade Runner. Made up of two lengthy electronic meditations, Ambient Garden Recordings falls somewhere between ’70s Tangerine Dream, vintage Pete Namlook, and the fires off the shoulder of Orion.
