Sumner’s second Cyberpunk Disco Session is an odyssey of brain-melting, gravity-defying IDM, brutalist jungle, razor-sharp drum ‘n bass, and disembodied vocals. Working with a stripped-down palette of hypnotic beats, synths, and samples, Production Unit Xero’s Ramon Mills and Noyouyesme’s Jason Cesarz take you on a longform descent into the soul of our surreal, digitized world.

Cyberpunk Disko Sessions 2 was recorded live at Azoth in Portland, Oregon for Heterodox’s regular roving Cyberpunk Disko night.

is a project rooted firmly in both experimental dance music and narrative driven storytelling.
Conceptually, Sumner chronicles the shadowrun-esque adventures of Jasyndyl and Dynrah, characters in a post-apocalyptic cyberpunk world of magic, political intrigue, and drama know as Talanus.
Musically, Sumner combines the gritty industrial tribal sounds and rhythms of noyouyesme with Production Unit Xero’s post jungle electro idm in vivid improvisation based compositions.
